    Summary

Sanders Associates Architects Directed the rehabilitation of the Utah Trunk Factory located in the 25th Street Historic District of Ogden, Utah.  The building was originally constructed in 1915 as a single story retail block in the Commercial Vernacular-style.

The rehabilitation work included the removal of all non-historic materials; repair of the original storefront, repair of the damaged brickwork using in-kind materials; the installation of new signs;   the installation of  insulated wood windows; copper flashing, and coping; and the installation of a subsurface drainage and moisture protection system. The furniture design employs extensive joinery connections, simply designed and carefully crafted of rock maple and gum wood.
