    Summary

Stadler offers a comprehensive range of vehicles in the heavy rail and urban transport segments: high-speed trains, intercity trains, regional and rapid suburban commuter rail trains, underground trains, tram trains and trams.  Stadler also manufactures mainline locomotives, shunting locomotives and passenger carriages.

Sanders Associates Architects led the design of the Stadler US facility.  The facility was designed to support Stadler’s North American train manufacturing operations.

The design team worked closely with Stadler in the design of the facility to optimize efficiency and functionality to the train manufacturing process.  The site contains electrified tracks for commissioning, commissioning hall, assembly hall, boggie pre-assembly, mechanical pre-assembly, electrical pre-assembly, wood shop, car body paint facility, warehouse facility for train components, and an administration building. The site includes parking for staff and visitors, landscape courtyard at the entry of the administration building, perimeter security fences, and a controlled entry.
