Summary

Built in 1968, Sanders Associates Architects worked with the University to carefully document and rehabilitate this structure according to current State Energy Standards and University Guidelines.  The exterior window wall system was replaced with a new high performance insulated glazing system and the interior was substantially modified to conform to life safety, as well as new LED lighting and a new VRF heat pump mechanical system.

The building design incorporates strategies that promote sustainability through the use of non-toxic materials in the renovated public corridors, and state-of-the-art environmental controls (for heating, cooling, ventilation, and lighting).
